Abandoned Food
Description
“The food wasn’t thrown away. It was forgotten.”
Since 2023, I have been photographing half‑eaten food and drinks at different locations. I often ask myself how they ended up in that exact spot. Were they really forgotten, or were they left there on purpose? The analog images were taken over the years in Berlin, Hamburg, and New York City, using different types of film. In Abandoned Food, I combine these finds with street photography, where each food item reappears as a small but defining detail.
