A Chicago environmentalist’ photo-journal; on insects, birds, green spaces, environmental justice, transit, cycling, cross-cultural design, and local business. Building on my five or so years (2019-2024) as an ecologist, activist, and image-maker. Consisting of my photography and writing, based on my research and field work. It’s a playful and easy-to-approach take on some of these scientific themes. Some features include photography from Joy Muqing Wang, Matt Keeth, Justin Soto and more, illustration/artwork by iicky Genes, Borb a Day, and more, and design story features on Goody Vault, Chop Yam, and RUPTUR’ / Larry Tchogninou.
