<text>The book/bag ‘To be heard and to be held (I am building my castle, 2022)’ is the last in a trilogy called 'jaws of life' and each has explored a different emotion at its core-the work aims to help myself and others hold room for the specific emotion (joy/woe/strife) and encourages discussion on how we hold these feelings in the body. This edition explores strife/anger but with an underlying desire to release these repressed emotions and what the result of this action can be. The images and graphic text collages contain a sense of motion as most work was made as a stream of consciousness release charged with feeling and is an edition of 78 copies. Each book comes in a party bag format of a green organza bag and The Simpsons badge attached containing an original 1/1 drawing in a stamped envelope, sweets, fridge magnet and a handmade keyring. </text>
