Description
During the first wave of covid, in the spring of 2020, a whatsapp group was set up in
our street. Around that same time my commercial work virtually stopped. As a result I
was in touch with neighbours I hadn’t spoken to before while at the same time I had time
on my hands.I decided to photograph these neighbours, through their
windows. Two years later, when covid had mostly disappeared I photographed the same
people again. This time, however, I asked if I could take a photo of them in the intimacy
of their house. I then printed the images side by side and asked the sitters to reflect on
those images, using the prints as their canvas. This is the result.
