“A Faint Drift of the Universe” explores the beauty of awakening a sense of wonder. It is a visual expression of detaching from the practicalities of life and suddenly seeing everything anew - like a child, mesmerized by the simplest little happenings of the world. The grievances of everyday life are given colour through moments of particular sensitivity and spiritual connection to nature as well as higher energies surrounding us.
This series intends to merge the realism of what is around the corner and the surrealism of being enchanted by those ordinary subjects. The camera acts as a tool for self-reflection which brings further awareness to the fleeting aspect of life and honours even the smallest occurrences of beauty.
