These photographs taken over 20 years capture the details that give East Kilbride its own personality - more colourful than you might imagine, with lots of green space, spiky churches and two front doors.
The book travels from the town centre to the outskirts, from civic buildings, to parks, residential areas and industrial estates. All of them noteworthy in their own way.
As the original Modernist details gradually get upgraded and eroded, I Heart EK sums up what a new way of living looked like at an optimistic time.
